On 1^st April 2009, the a. hartrodt group celebrated the three 40-year anniversaries of Mr. Rainer Funke (General Manager Australia / New Zealand / EMEA), Mr. Wolfgang Boenert (Project Management Germany - Korea) and Mr. Burkhard Unruh (Team leader for project shipments to Far-East).

The festivities took place at the „ Kai 10“, a swimming event platform in the centre of Hamburg. Over 250 guests were present, among them customers, partners and employees.

The highlight of the event was the visit of the acting WBO box world champion in the super middle weight class, “Károly Balzsay”. Since 2008, the a. hartrodt group is his exclusive sponsor.

In the course of the festival, also the long year proxy of the import department in Hamburg, Germany, Mr. Werner Haschke, was honoured. He went into retirement after 43 successful years for the a. hartrodt group.
